5 Ways To Make Money As A Teenager!!

Hello Everyone!! So if you’re a teenager like myself, you can probably relate to the feeling of wanting to make your own money even though you aren’t yet allowed to have a proper job. It can be really frustrating when you really want that super cute dress or those new nike trainers but you just don’t have the money for it. You could easily ask your parents but there’s always that 50% chance that they might say no especially if it’s not something you don't necessarily need or they think it’s not worth it. Why have to worry about that when you could just gather up some of your savings money and get whatever it is you want?! That’s why I decided to come to you guys today with 5 different ways you could easily make some quick cash for yourself as a teenager like myself!>>

1) Selling online
Nowadays, you can simply make money inside the comfort of your own home! With so many websites such as Ebay, Amazon, Etsy,  Threadflip, ExchangeMyPhone and many more, you have a wide range of products to sell and make a good amount of money. Some ideas are clothes, jewelry, phone cases, game consoles, shoes, DIY and crafts and so much more. The only thing is that you must have a bank card and let your parents be aware of what you are doing.

2) Doing Chores
Doing a few extra chores at home can make you a few extra pounds for pocket money. You've simply got to negotiate and make a contract with your parents including what jobs you'll do, how long for, how often and how much you'll get in return. You could get paid for raking leaves, mowing the garden, washing cars, cleaning the whole house or a section of it for an acceptable price. I know that this way is a lot more hard work but in the long run, it's definitely worth it!

3) Getting Good Test Results!
I actually do this with my mum all the time. So if I've got an upcoming test, I let her know about it and we set a minimum grade boundary. It's usually an A so if I hit it or get higher, she will give me £10. If you don't want actual money, you could agree that they get you something else you want instead. This is also a very good motivation to wanting to achieve better results at school because you know there will be a exiting reward waiting for you if you do well! This way is actually quite easy and if you're a teenager, you're probably still going to school or having some type of education so it's perfect and straight forward!

4) Online Surveys
Isn't it amazing that you could actually make some good money with nothing else but your opinion! I mean seriously, you can make like £2 per survey with questions like 'Have you ever heard of River Island?' and 'Which do you prefer, jeans or dresses?' It's ridiculous right! Anyways, there are tons of sites out there ready for you to sign up to and start to earn cash, vouchers, prizes and so much more! Some of them even offer free games for you to play for like a few minutes and it'll earn you points! Check out SwagBucks, Toluna, Vivatic, MySurvey, YouGov and many other options you have and see which one you prefer!!

5) Turn a hobby/Talent Into A Business
My final suggestion is a little bit more creative although you barely see anyone doing it in this current teenage generation. It was a lot more common during the teen lives of our parents and upwards but now, not so much. If there is something you adore doing, or something you're really good at, or something you really love, believe it or not you can still make money out of it regardless. Whether you're a pet lover (pet sit or dog walk), a baby lover (babysit), a intelligent boy/girl (tutor someone), a more active kind (car washing, bike washing, lawn mowing), a great singer or dancer (form a little group with friends or someone and have lessons and stuff). The list just goes on and on and there are so many options to choose from, just find something you really enjoy or love and make you a few quid with it.

So that's all the ways I thought of in which teenagers like myself (boy or girl) could earn themselves a little extra pocket for those times when you wished you had been saving up, or a real emergency comes up and you're in a sticky situation. I hope you enjoyed and found it useful! Be sure to comment down below if you would like to see similar posts to this!

What To Do When You're Feeling Down..

As human beings, we simply need to accept that in life we are going to have bad times. We are going to face hardships, break ups, low self-esteem days, argumentative days and all the rest of the negativity that comes with life so we have no choice but to endure them and try to push forward. Here, I have a few tips that I myself sometimes use to help me overcome those days when I’m just not feeling my best!>>

1.  Pray
This always tend to uplift my mood and make me feel so light-weight and spiritually free. I like the feeling of believing that I have something up there that I can talk to and render all my problems to and believing bad times aren't forever.

2. Music
If there is a song that I am really into at the time I like to play it quietly while I'm laying down relaxed and with my eyes closed. It usually reminds me of the happy and bouncy moods that I am in all the other times I have played the song/s and it can really help to think that it isn't worth drowning and overwhelming yourself in sorrow and disregarding all the good times.

3. Talk to somebody
Whether it's God, a friend, my mum, or even a diary, it can really relieve the stress on your shoulders when you let it all out. Think of it like throwing away a heavy bag of bricks you've been carrying around for a long time. Sharing your situation with someone or something that will understand can really be comforting and could even be the first step to a solution!

4. Read a book/Watch Youtube/TV
Although this is very vague and simple, it could actually get your mind off your problems especially if it's just a bad day but feels like hell on earth. Watch something that makes you laugh or that interests you. Make yourself some hot chocolate, throw on some comfy pj's and fluffy socks, and tuck yourself under some warm covers with a laptop or a book!

5. Hobbies
Whether you like to sing, dance, sew, draw, write, design, read or even workouts, when you're in an unhappy mood, these can really come in handy. I really like dancing and sort of singing so I turn up that music and turn up in my own room! No need for a party! But on a serious note, doing something you enjoy can really encourage you to want to move on from the down and dull moments and keep in mind that your better than all of this! You don't need to hibernate down in the dumps because your strong, awesome and have a meaning existence! Remember everything happens for a reason!!

6. Give yourself a makeover
Pampering yourself when you're in a bad mood can really make you feel better about yourself from the inside. Whether it's a facial mask, feet makeover, hand/nails makeover, painting your nails, giving your hair some TLC or even having a long bath. You will most likely be distracted from your worries and they will eventually fly away. In the mean time, you're making your self look gorgeous while conquering your bad mood! 7 Things To Be Grateful For..

Hii Guys, so this post is supposed to be a quite inspirational one (I hope) and it's going to be about the 7 things that I am grateful for. I sat back for a while yesterday and just started to think about my life and just life in general. I realised that 80% of the time we probably focus on all the negativity and horrible things that are happening or that have happened to us. Yes, we can be going through extremely tough and stressful time which can be pretty overwhelming and cause the any slight positivity to loose its place in our heart. However, I want to come back and remind us that in every negative situation, there is always, always some positivity in there, we just need to search deeper within ourselves to be able to see the beauty and happiness in everything as we look through the eyes of God.

1. Your Life
This by far in my opinion is the greatest gift you could have. Without life, you couldn’t love, laugh, dream, explore, question or even complain about all the negativity in our lives in the first place. Think about your surroundings, many have fallen through even just the smallest trial, but you have been lucky and received the most ultimate grace to push past those, stay strong and hold onto your life. That's worth being grateful for if you ask me.

2. Your Situation
Be it good or bad, smooth or tough, you should always be grateful for your situation. I always like to think of it as 'it could've been worse'. This world is full of both good and evil (although sometimes one outweighing the other) so we just need to learn to endure and stay strong during hardships.

3. Your Strengths & Flaws
Imagine a world where everyone was the exact same; all with the same strengths and flaws. There is so much value and preciousness in both out strengths and flaws which all come together to make us unique individuals. I think it's important that we embrace our strengths and flaws and apply them to our daily life to make something spectacular out of them.. why.. because we can! Be proud to be different.

4. Your Mistakes
I think that making mistakes are such powerful yet wonderful things. Making mistakes and taking risks enable us to understand, experience, learn, discover and grow stronger and better (hopefully) than we were before. Don't ever be scared to make a mistake as they occur naturally and simply mean that we are perfectly imperfect human beings. The ability to make a mistake and adjust is definitely a fascinating ability and worth being grateful for.

5. Your Enemies
This one might seem like a weird one, but I think it's true! Our enemies or people who dislike and wish possibly the worst for us are people we should be grateful for having. These kind of people give us the opportunities to practice patience, love, kindness and forgiveness. These qualities are really useful and crucial to have, even though it's sometimes difficult, but having an easy access to practicing them is definitely a win win!

6. Your Choices
The opportunity to make your own choice whether they were amazing or not so good is something to be grateful for. In the end, they were yours and yours alone. The privilege to choose between a packet of crisps or a bar of chocolate, going on the laptop or watching t.v, shopping at Topshop or New Look. All these things are almost luxuries and we tend to take advantage of them since we’re so used to it and it’s ‘normal’. We need to remember that some people out there don’t even have the access to these things let alone to choose between different options.

7. Your Heart
Through many, breakups, make ups, excitements, depressions, and just both good and bad times, your heart is forever healing all wounds and preparing itself for more craziness to come! It’s still beating no matter what the condition and that in itself is worth being grateful for!
So that’s all from me today, I hope you enjoyed this post and found it encouraging and inspirational as I hoped! I know there are plenty more things in this world that we have been abundantly blessed with but those were the ones that came to me at the time. In the future, I am also planning to make a grateful list or whatever they are called, they seem pretty cool! Please comment all other ideas down below and any other opinions..
            God Bless..
