7 Things To Be Grateful For..

Hii Guys, so this post is supposed to be a quite inspirational one (I hope) and it's going to be about the 7 things that I am grateful for. I sat back for a while yesterday and just started to think about my life and just life in general. I realised that 80% of the time we probably focus on all the negativity and horrible things that are happening or that have happened to us. Yes, we can be going through extremely tough and stressful time which can be pretty overwhelming and cause the any slight positivity to loose its place in our heart. However, I want to come back and remind us that in every negative situation, there is always, always some positivity in there, we just need to search deeper within ourselves to be able to see the beauty and happiness in everything as we look through the eyes of God.

1. Your Life
This by far in my opinion is the greatest gift you could have. Without life, you couldn’t love, laugh, dream, explore, question or even complain about all the negativity in our lives in the first place. Think about your surroundings, many have fallen through even just the smallest trial, but you have been lucky and received the most ultimate grace to push past those, stay strong and hold onto your life. That's worth being grateful for if you ask me.

2. Your Situation
Be it good or bad, smooth or tough, you should always be grateful for your situation. I always like to think of it as 'it could've been worse'. This world is full of both good and evil (although sometimes one outweighing the other) so we just need to learn to endure and stay strong during hardships.

3. Your Strengths & Flaws
Imagine a world where everyone was the exact same; all with the same strengths and flaws. There is so much value and preciousness in both out strengths and flaws which all come together to make us unique individuals. I think it's important that we embrace our strengths and flaws and apply them to our daily life to make something spectacular out of them.. why.. because we can! Be proud to be different.

4. Your Mistakes
I think that making mistakes are such powerful yet wonderful things. Making mistakes and taking risks enable us to understand, experience, learn, discover and grow stronger and better (hopefully) than we were before. Don't ever be scared to make a mistake as they occur naturally and simply mean that we are perfectly imperfect human beings. The ability to make a mistake and adjust is definitely a fascinating ability and worth being grateful for.

5. Your Enemies
This one might seem like a weird one, but I think it's true! Our enemies or people who dislike and wish possibly the worst for us are people we should be grateful for having. These kind of people give us the opportunities to practice patience, love, kindness and forgiveness. These qualities are really useful and crucial to have, even though it's sometimes difficult, but having an easy access to practicing them is definitely a win win!

6. Your Choices
The opportunity to make your own choice whether they were amazing or not so good is something to be grateful for. In the end, they were yours and yours alone. The privilege to choose between a packet of crisps or a bar of chocolate, going on the laptop or watching t.v, shopping at Topshop or New Look. All these things are almost luxuries and we tend to take advantage of them since we’re so used to it and it’s ‘normal’. We need to remember that some people out there don’t even have the access to these things let alone to choose between different options.

7. Your Heart
Through many, breakups, make ups, excitements, depressions, and just both good and bad times, your heart is forever healing all wounds and preparing itself for more craziness to come! It’s still beating no matter what the condition and that in itself is worth being grateful for!
So that’s all from me today, I hope you enjoyed this post and found it encouraging and inspirational as I hoped! I know there are plenty more things in this world that we have been abundantly blessed with but those were the ones that came to me at the time. In the future, I am also planning to make a grateful list or whatever they are called, they seem pretty cool! Please comment all other ideas down below and any other opinions..
            God Bless..

Would You Rather Tag - Beauty Edition -

Heyy Everyone! So today I am doing a Would You Rather Beauty Edition Tag. I really enjoy reading other people’s so I figured why don’t I give it a go myself since they’re so much fun!! I tag anyone who is reading this, so just go make yourself a good hot chocky, sit back and relax and I hope you enjoy!>>

1) Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice makeup or nice hair and no makeup?
I would definitely go with the nice hair and no makeup since I hardly wear makeup anyway! Maybe the odd eyeliner or eyeshadow every once in a while when I feeling creative but apart from that, slap on a little lipbalm and I'm good to go!

2) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Ermm, I say chop off all my hair, I mean there's wigs and weaves for a reason! Lol but seriously, what about if I get like really bad split ends(I never get them but still) or if I need to give my hair a trim or try out a new different style or cut, then what?? Besides, having Rapunzel length hair is like a real struggle to deal with and will just take a lot of time and my lazyself won't be able to cope with that!

3) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eyeliner as lipstick of course, the eyeliner will just count as a lipliner so I'll get away with it..or not..

4) Would you rather wear summer clothes in winter or winter clothes in summer?
Both of them are like super weird but most likely the winter clothes in summer. Seriously you cannot risk wearing summer clothes in winter here in London, literally, in 10mins you'll have no blood left in you and in half an hour, you'll have caught a disease! Crop top and skirts in all the snow and coldness, I don't think so!!

5) Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have all your eyelashes fall out?
Argg, I would rather either but most likely shave my eyebrows, I could always just draw them back on anyways. Having no eyelashes is just really odd for me. On a related note see my DIY Growing Longer&Fuller Eyelashes/Eyebrows post here

6) Would you rather have full lips and small eyes or big eyes and thin lips?
I would rather full lips and small eyes since I already have fairly small eyes anyways and they're not hard to live with lol. Also you can just use make up tricks to get bigger eyes. Also I have quite full lips and I really like them plus I wouldn't go to an extent of surgery to get bigger lips.

7) Would you rather have your eyebrows permanently tattooed on or your eyeliners permanently tattooed on?
Ouch!Ouch!Ouch! Both really freak me out but I would rather my eyebrows permanently tattooed on, it just seems like slightly less pain. I'm sorry but the idea of needles, tattoos and stuff just really scare me lol.

8) Would you rather never using shampoo or never using toothpaste?
When I first read this question from the site I got it from, I thought eww that's soo gross, I can't have a final answer to that then I realised that there are alternatives to shampoos and toothpastes e.g baking soda, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar etc. See here for DIY for whiter teeth. But anyways, I would still choose never using shampoos since they aren't actually great for the hair anyways (don't worry I do wash my hair lol) but baking soda and stuff is actually too harsh to use on your teeth twice a day.

9) Would you rather have a faint moustache you can't ever remove or have a faint monobrow you can't ever remove?
Omg, this question made me laugh soo much! After weighing it all up in my head, I decided I'd rather have the faint moustache because the monobrow is just a nono.

10) Would you rather never be able to fill in your eyebrows or draw them or with a sharpie?
Most definitely never be able to fill them in, thankfully I'm blessed with quite full eyebrows anyways so I'll be alright with them as they are. But the sharpie thingy, pfft no thanks!!
Alright guys! So that's all from me today, I would definitely like you guys to do this would you rather and I'm really looking forward to your answers; you can leave a link of your post in the comments below or simply give your answers in the comments also!!
Thanks again for reading, I hope you enjoyed this and be sure let me know what you think of my answers aswell!!

Until Next Time,

Health & Fitness - My New Goal !!

Hello everyone, I'm soo sorry that I haven't been posting very regularly recently but I think I've just become very lazy and pretty much incapable of writing up something really simple for you guys. One of my targets with this blog is actually to come up with a scheduled day of the week to draft and to post, but one that I will ACTUALLY stick to for once!! Anyways let's continue on to this post itself before I get carried away>>

So keeping fit is actually something that has been on my mind for ages now and I've sort of always said to myself that I will start doing workouts, exercises, and most of all eating healthily. As you can probably guess all those were just plain words that came out my mouth with no real follow up action. Now don't get me wrong, I am not over-weight or anything so I don't want to go on a diet or loose weight etc (trust me I'm like the size of a toothpick) but I simply want to become fit, sporty like I was in primary school and just overall healthier!! Seriously, I eat like so much junk food in one day ie; a whole packet of oreos, cookies, chocolate, sweets, fizzy drinks and just everything that your supposed to stay away from!!If I'm lucky, I might remember to have like one fruit but like that's not gonna out weigh all the other crap I've been munching. You wait till all my teeth start dropping out! But real talk, it's literally like an addiction, thank God I have high metabolism though!!

Also today, I was so shocked and disappointed at myself as I actually came to awareness of what I was like during sports. Apart from the fact that I'll decide to do a 15mins workout everyday of the week, manage do it twice then give up and forget about it and realise like 6months later 'Oh I haven't been doing my workouts' which is completely useless. But like today in PE (gym class) we played basketball and I realised that I was always standing back and away from the ball and wasn't actually doing anything. That in itself wasn't actually the problem because of course, I got away with it! But the fact that I never used to be like that! Before, I would go up to the ball, tackle people (I mean like boys), score goals an actually get active. Now I've just put myself into the 'I'm a girl so I cant be sporty' category and that's not who I really am at all. Now is my chance to breakfree from 'I cant be bothered land' and get myself together real quick!
Some of the ideas I have come up with as a starter pack are:
- to resume after school club sports (say no to laziness!)
- to always eat breakfast(a healthy one, rather than chocolate before 9am)
- to drink healthy fruit smoothies everyday afterschool (which I will be post a DIY on as soon as I start!)
- drinking a lot more water atleast 2ltrs (during breakfast, school day, lunch dinner etc)
- finding a good youtuber to do home workouts with (please comment own below if you know any good role models to follow lol)
- and finally going 2 weeks each month without buying any junk snacks before/after school (this will be the most difficult so I'll be doing this with a few friends)

Thank you so much for reading guys!! I'm really looking forward to starting my new healthy lifestyle and I hope I actually stay encouraged and it becomes a normal thing for me to just live healthy! Feel free to join me on this life transforming journey, and I'll be glad to receive any tips or opinions on this, so please comment down below!! Thanks again.
